Shoppers visiting the same store can haggle prices more effectively when working together than when acting alone. This is because the store will usually discount more if they sell more. We have named a group working like this a "store mob" (this is nothing to do with "mob" illegal activities by the way!).
StoreMob.com helps you to find like-minded shoppers in your area and country who want to participate in a store mob event.
Finding store mobs in your area is simple. Just browse the message board, and if you find a store mob you want to participate in, post a message to let the event leader know that you will be joining them. Then all you have to do is turn up at the nominated store on the day to get your discount*.
It's ok if you don't find a store mob in your area (very likely in these early days, but things will get better, especially if you help spread the word please!), then don't worry, it's easy to start one, just post a message to the board, stating your chosen store, location, time and date you want the store mob event to happen.

For big ticket items such as cars, TVs, and washing machines, you can usually expect to receive a discount. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a store will give your group a discount.
